Bio
Zada is a Bucharest-based DJ and copywriter, host of the Cocodubs party and mix series. She’s been playing joyful sets since 2009, filled with everything from ska and swing revival to reggae, dancehall and dub. Her selections now combine afro, disco and house with a dub sensibility and a knack for colorful jazzy grooves.
When she isn’t recording a mix or writing something, you can find her playing parties around the city and festivals around the country. There’s a common thread running through Zada’s mixes and sets – a desire to find interesting sounds, build positive dancefloors and spread joy wherever she goes.
