eclec0076 | MAN2.0 | Mark Bailey | 16|08|17

MAN2.0 AKA Mark Bailey has spent much of the last two decades on the dancefloor, losing his shit to DJs like Erol Alkan, Justin Robertson, Ivan Smaagghe and any other DJ not afraid to play slightly left of centre. Initially, Mark played in some of the worst bands in West London never to leavethe practice studio before becoming caught up in London’s  club scene, trawling London’s clubs like the End, Turnmills, the Cross and Fabric before London’s night life went a bit limp.

In recent years, Mark turned to music production as a means to aleviate his ADHD and after gaining some attention from the Ransom Note and Denis Jurgen’s 44100hz Social Club, was signed to Tronik Youth’s Dark Disco and Post Techno imprint Nein. As a DJ Mr2.0 has played numerous gigs in Berlin, most notably destroying the dancefloors of Crack Belmer and the mysterious J Kerfuffle [sic] (Just one of the many reasons
he is wanted by the German authorities.)

This year has seen releases from Nein, Regith, Flight Recorder and Det Sync alonside sometime production partner Vadim Ryadinsky (AKA Bizzeea!) as well as forthcoming EPs for the Umberella, Wonder Stories, Sulk Magic as well as various remixes and more gigs on the distant horizon.

The mix clocks in at just over an hour, long enough to fit in some of his recent fvourites as well as a few cheeky forthcoming gems for you to stuff into your lugholes.

Now sit back, turn up your speakers or headphones and lube yourselves up.

ARCHEO RECORDINGS is a reissue record label that regenerates old, lost, obscure (and forgotten) rare gems of Italian music of the 70s and 80s, and not only.
All outputs are licensed by the artists and the vintage labels; audio tracks are remastered in their original form; the sleeves and center labels are graphically recreated for today but all based on the original images.
Archeo would like to make the music available to a wider audience of collectors, DJs, music lovers of a forgotten time.
All releases are hand-numbered limited edition vinyl. The first copies of each release are pressed in coloured vinyls.

Micky Browne does Spiritland

This weekend saw us travel up to London for the second consecutive week… last week a trip with Gary Ellis as he went and played a gig at Oval Space hosted by Dope Disco.

I personally really like the charm and intrigue that London has, and we tend to travel up regularly over the last few years. I’m sure most of you know but it’s so big up there that it’s really easy to find good music and good venues. Even the food places lol… every avenue and market is so saturated, and not in a bad way, that you really cant get away with being terrible. Though saying that, miche know’s my thoughts on the sound at Boho… …

We’ve been fortunate enough to be associated and work with Micky Browne for a while now and, between himself and Donna (his better half), I cant say I’ve met…

Kris Pelkonen is 25 years old  from Denmark, he’s been dj’ing for 10 years, the Balearic spirit hit him back in 2012 to a Coma Party and after getting to know Kenneth Bager he became  hooked on the Balearic scene and music. He loves to discover new music specially ambient, downtempo, finding great inspiration from Balearic Icons Phil Mison and Kenneth Bager, he follows the Music For Dreams label very closely. Anyway I’ll let Kris’s mix do the talking, click play and drift into part of his collection.. enjoy.
