Just Breathe is described as a cinematic journey that sails deep into the tranquil realms of trip-hop, nu soul and jazz.

About the artists:
The band came together through a network of music lovers, makers and shakers. Despite being located in different parts of the world (Ireland, USA, UK and France), this hasn’t stopped the Warriors from producing great music. The Internet is their creative hub. The concept behind the band came with Jonny Mac from his studio in Derry, Ireland, who was looking to collaborate with purveyors of trip-hop and electronica to define a new wave of downtempo music. Through a friend’s Facebook post, he discovered lo-fi instrumentalists Mike Rufolo and Nick Rufolo, both based in New York and pitched them a track to work on. The final piece was set when Jonny brought aboard nomadic experimental producer and former DJ partner, Sean Graham, who splits his time between Coventry in the UK and Toulon in the South of France.
With 2 full releases under their belt and major support from Nemone with several plays across her Electric Ladyland show, also more love was shown when she brought the Warriors sound to daytime when sitting in for Lauren Laverne and Shuan Keaveny on BBC 6 Music, Phil Taggart (BBC Radio 1) and Across the Line (BBC Radio Ulster). The Future is Ours and Return to Coney EP’s, were both released to great fanfare. The later being notable a mix of trip-hop and dark wave earning the sub-genre title “Gloomtronica”.

About the remixes:
Ken Fan, Cafe Del Mar resident in Ibiza, delivers an underground groove that will find a home in many DJ bags this summer on the White Isle.
Northern Irish Tastemakers Ubblahkan drop a slo disco groove for you to shake your tail to.
Finally from NYC Mike & Nick take off their Warriror’s caps and deliver us a very melancholic The Brothers Nylon Dub remix.

Forthcoming BSR003 Joe Morris – Stars Over Benniras by Balearic Social | Free Listening on SoundCloud

Balearic Social Radio will shortly be releasing Joe Morris’s E.P. BSR’s third release in a series I hope goes on for a very long time.. I asked Joe when the E.P would be out.. “When I’ve finished the other two” “The pesky day job and gigs getting in the way, but nearly there”.I know this statement will make lots people very happy.. Myself included. “Stars over Benniras” ticks all the boxes for me, but the deep flowing Acid undertones of “The Voyage” is currently giving me goosebumps. Great work from both Andy and Joe.. So lets hope it’s not to long before we get to hear those two awaited tracks to complete the E.P… Click the above link to find out what your ears think.

Sharing music , art, photography, design and culture is what is blog is for I want to help others get more exposure to provide another platform for their work. So it probably  won’t be long until I’ll be asking you if you want to contribute.
